Okay let's discuss #Ram_Leela and why Ravana's effigy should be or should not be burnt.

Its true(as per mythology) that he abducted Sita. Not because he was a womenizer but it was sort of revenge for what Lakshman did to soorpnaka. Because if he were a womenizer, he would have done unspeakable immoral things to Sita. And Sita wouldn't have passed the fire test which was given to her by her Husband to prove her purity to himself and to the world.

If just abducting a women is such a crime that needs to be condemned by burning effigies, then i am on board. Women are not properties and should not be treated as such. Let's burn effigies of Ravana for the self-respect and dignity of women in India.

But hang on a second. Read my second point now.

3 out of 8 marriages recognised in Vedic literature are not really any different from what Ravana did. Asura vivaha, Paisacha vivaha and Rakshasha vivaha states that a women could be bought & be married to, a women can be abducted/kidnapped & married to and she can be rapped and be married to.

Thirdly, Bhishma abducted Gandhari to marry her to Drithurashtra. Krishna Abducted Rukhmini and married her.

Then Why call Bhishma as Pithahma, Krishna a God and Yudhistir as Dharma who gambled his wife away. And last but not the least why call someone Maryadha purshotam who abandoned his pregnant wife in a forest just because society was bad mouthing about her.

Morals should be objective. They shall not change person to person.

If burning Ravana's effigy is necessary to bring respect and dignity to women, then burning effigies of Bhishma, Krishna, Ram and Yudhistir is absolutely necessary.

As a foetus, She has the threat of #Foeticide

As an infant, she has the threat of  #Infanticide

As a child, she has the threat of #Child_marriage

As an Adult, In an Arrange marriage she go es through #Marriage_without_consent(as per Hindu code bill, there is no official consent)

If she wants to marry the one she fell in love with, she has the threat of being killed for the "Honour" of the family

She is shamed and humiliated after her husband's death, in which she had no role to play.

Robbed of her right to make herself look good again. Left in an Ashram in the "Holy land" of Mathura where she begs for living till her death.

Even after her death she is deprived of the proper cremation as per Hindu rites. She is butchered into pieces, packed in a sack and thrown into the river Ganga.

She meets the "Holy" Ganga as a bag of butchered meat praying to the Goddess, 

"Never again! Enough is enough! Not just me. This is a life that no human should ever has to live. Please never again."

Poona Pact 1932

Poona pact came after the declaration of Mcdonald's communal award after the second round table conference. Where Gandhiji spoke about the harmony and brotherhood among the fellow Indians and tried to explain that we Indians can administer ourselves and that we are capable of resolving our differences. But Dr B R Ambedkar politely yet vehemently disagreed with Mr Gandhi and put forth the sufferings and the injustice faced by the depressed class under the Brahmanical society of India.

As a result, McDMcdona communal reward was declared in favour of the depressed class. However Gandhi Ji was not happy about it and went on a indefinite "Hunger strike" against the communal award believing it might break the "Hindu Society".

The entire country was in distress as Mr Gandhi's fast went about six days and his health was loosing strength. Ambedkar gave up the MacDonald's Communal award that was a awarded to the depressed class after years of struggle only to save a man who was certainly more concerned with the Hindu unity over the welfare of the depressed class.

If I were in Baba Saheb Ambedkar's place, I would have let Gandhi Ji die and be a martyr for the cause that he fought for and I would have secured the reward of the depressed class and the generations to come along in the future. But hundreds and thousands of pogroms would have been organised to kill dalit all over the country to avenge the death of Mr Gandhi.

Fortunately for Gandhi Ji, Baba Saheb Ambedkar was a bigger person with a beautiful soul that did not let a person die who was fighting for a cause that was evil to the interests of the depressed class.

Some people say that there was benevolence in the act of Hunger strike by Gandhi Ji. They say that he did not want the society to divide on the line of caste and there be equality in the Society.

I need only one term to refute this argument. "Kulam Kalvi Thittam"(Varnashram) that followed Poona Pact.

Gandhi Ji was saved by someone who agreed to Communal award.

Eventually Gandhi Ji was killed by someone who disagreed to Communal award just like him.

Dowry - A Prodigy of Brahmanvad

Varna system AKA Caste system is a Prodigy of "Brahmanvad" and Dowry is a Prodigy of caste system!

Even though dowry transaction is criminalised in India, the custom of Dowry within the castiest people prevails. The people in India not only fail to regard the dowry act as a criminal act but also take pride in the public display of the transaction during the ceremony and Marriage receptions.

Sadly the younger​ generation also blindly follows the same old regressive custom without realising it's affects on the society.

Dowry is greed. The Idea of Dowry system projects the man as superior and the women as inferior. This idea makes a women a liability that would be transferred from one man to another in exchange of material benefits.

Dowry further leads to harassment, domestic violence and shaming the bride within the family and the society.This degrades the social status of a women which as a result degrades the value of life of the girl child.

One of the main factors for female foeticide is Dowry system in India.The latest report from Central registration system tells shows the declining SRB(Sex Ratio at birth) of female children drastically. Tamil Nadu holds the third position in the worst states with 1000:834 ratio. The figures are alarming and the fact that nobody is talking about it worries me intensely. Digital India maybe be silently embracing the female foeticide.

If you are part of or participating in these acts of Gender terrorism, you are not a responsible human being. You are just selfish a wild animal as Periyar referred to you. Please refrain from taking part of any ceremony that involves dowry, even as a guest. And if possible, report to the authorities!

         "Supply to Demand" in Public Transportation

About 2 weeks ago, Chennai witnessed a horrific train accident near St. Thomas mount railway station that perished 3 lives and 4 others were severely injured.

I have taken up an #initiative to Demand a "Real-time system" to measure the public demand for transportation and to be supplied accordingly.

#Cause:
Travel has become a basic necessity to the working class. The working class majorly lives in the outskirts and Public transportation is what they rely upon. Overcrowded trains not only cause inconvenience and suffocation but also accidents resulting in fatal injuries and results in death in many cases. Our cause is "Supply to demand" in Public transportation.

#Demand:
We urge the state to deploy a "Real-time system" to measure the demand and supply accordingly with precision. When state needs revenue, it asks for our salary in order to collect tax(Via employers or otherwise). For example, Professional tax. Similar Real-Time system can be deployed to measure and understand the demand and supply accordingly with precision.

#Question :
Why can't the state employ a "Real-time system" similar to the revenue collecting systems when it comes to the duties and responsibilities that the state has to deliver to its citizens!

The Objective behind Jallikattu and the student movement!

About Jallikattu:

Jallikattu is a centuries old bio-cultural sport intended to promote and propagate the native breeds. 

The native bulls have big humps on their back called as "Thimilu" in Tamil. Jallikattu is a test to see if the bulls can cross 50 feet with a man hugging its hump. If it passes, it is sent for breeding and the ones that loose go to farms for plowing the farm land. None of the bulls are sent to the slaughter houses, Whatsoever!!

My stand: 

I support #Jallikattu as a #Tamizhan not just because of the tradition but also for the #breeding science behind the bio-cultural sport. But I for one won't deny the element of cruelty that occurs to a bull during the conduction of the sport. But that doesn't mean that we can't conduct the sport with a set of reasonable restrictions that will protect the safety of the bull. And we don't need not ask SC to frame regulations. Madras high court has provided 77 directions to conduct Jallikattu with righteous rules and regulations.

The Jallikattu Agitation led by the Youth of Tamilnadu:

There is a huge protest going on here in Tamil Nadu. Youngsters have come to streets to protest in huge numbers. Primarily to save the native breeds, conventional farming and our farmers. This protest is significant not just for Tamil people living in India, It for all the students and youngsters in India. You can see this self-disciplined and self-controlled outburst of youth in two dimensions, state and national perspective. 

State Perspective:

The state of Tamil Nadu has been the recipient of strategies from the mainstream political parties of TN to depoliticize the student campuses over the past 45 years. The systematic elimination of student politics started by the DMK leader M Karunanidhi in 1970 where he tried to crush the students protest with police-lathi twice. In 1972, When the above-mentioned leader was conferred with Doctorate at Annamalai university, the students protested against the event and one of the prominent student leader UdhayKumar went missing. Since then every leader who rose to power continued with the legacy of Mr. M Karunanidhi including Dr. MGR and J Jayalalitha. That is why No political party is been entertained among the students during the protest. 

National perspective:

In the National perspective, the BJP led NDA government has tried its best to suppress the voice of the students. JNU, HYD university, FTII, and IIT-Madras have been on the receiving end. BJP led NDA not only celebrates the victory of suppression but also awards the loyal subordinates who help them run their game. For instance, the Delhi top cop Alok Verma who failed to find the JNU student Najeeb Ahmed for over 90 days now is been appointed as the next CBI chief by Mr. Narendra Modi. And the "Institutional murderer" of Rohit vemula receives the Science congress award from Mr Narendra Modi.

With this popular student-youth movement that has rose above the all the social barriers to unite the collective raw potential of the students in Tamil Nadu will revive and guide the student-youth protests all over India! This agitation will pave way for many other righteous causes and Jallikattu agitation will set an example to conduct protests in a peaceful and effective manner. 

The Change is Here and it is going to lead India for a better tomorrow!

I am a Believer 

I used to be an Agnostic atheist. By definition an Agnostic Atheist is one who does not know for sure if any gods exist or not but who also does not believe in any gods.Just few days earlier I figured out that I am a believer too. 

I found my God. I don't know the Gender of the God but just for the sake of this article I am gonna personify the GOD as Man, otherwise I believe in Gender equality and so is my God!

I don't know him well because I never met him, neither we ever had a conversation. No interaction whatsoever! But there are few assumptions that I made just like other people . Which is perfectly fine I guess. Like He is honest,sincere and straightforward ,which are the things which qualifies him as a God. And The best assumption is about our relationship is the sweet deal that we both agreed upon.

If he wants me to do something, he would let me know. And I get to decline his request if I want and I ain't going to rot in Hell. 

There are not many rules or commandments! Just the one, remain Human!

My God isn't famous! He has no fans nor no devotees. he isn't upset about the fact and he doesn't want me to spread his message that he is Best of all! You know why, cos he got Swag!!

And there is one more vital reason that he is not famous.Beliefs are very private and personal subject. 

God is not a Tag!
